the blowtops / the feelers / the guinea worms
me n beth went to hang with the feelers and the blowtops in columbus. dave put us on the list, which was nice. the feelers rocked out and played new songs. dan was wearing his hot trash shirt while they played, haha.
when the blowtops played, i think "creepy" dave scared everyone off cuz there was only like 10 of us standing in front of the stage. i'm glad we know them, because otherwise i would probably be scared of dave, too. ha. i yelled out for them to play "sidewalk santa" because it was a ridiculous request. me and beth just like to laugh at dave when he yells "HO HO HO!" dave told me i would have to sit on his lap if he was going to be santa. he sat on the stage and waited for me, so even though it was totally embarassing i sat down on his knee. he tried to ask "what's your name, little girl?" and "what do you want for christmas?" but i told him that WASN'T part of the plan. haha. he HO HO HO'ed for us and we were happy. heh. they played "black jeebus" which also made us laugh. scott is a fucking maniac of a drummer. it was a good show. i liked how it felt like they were putting on our own personal show in someone's basement. heh. afterwards we hung with tracey, aaron and scott for a bit, hearing GREAT stories about dave and with tracy trying to get me to do shots of 7up with her. aaron told us that when they stayed at our house during horriblefest it was so nice, and that the only other person's house that compares to ours is the guitarist for the mistreaters. ha.
the guinea worms were very funny and sang a song called "zingers" about hostess snacks.
fun.
