the opening band was a band from new york (i think?) called the afterparty. oh my god it was an experience i will never forget. i cant even describe it. it was just the most rocknroll thing EVER and i am dying to see them again! they did a song called "bang bang" and the singer kept pointing his "gun" at people in the audience and shooting. and by "gun" i dont mean "weiner." ha.

pansy division was hilarious as expected, doing all the favorites like "luv luv luv," "groovy underwear," "who treats you right" and a new fav, "no protection." its their techno song about doing it without condoms. ha. we also laughed at "too many hoops" because if you try to sing it you HAVE to sing it as flamboyantly gay as possible.
