the independents are one band that are so funny to see live because they don't look like they sound and they don't sound like they look. they started off the set with "little blue," which beth said before the show "if they play little blue tonite i will pee my pants!" they played my fav - "insane" - and the singer kept going around and making people sing in the mic. he gave it to beth and she sang a "HEY!" haha i laughed so hard. they also covered "suspicious minds" and i loved it. and they played "c is for cookie" haha. adam from the vista cruisers introducted me and beth and told everyone about hot trash. ha.
